Getting Closer

My first event (my best friend’s vow renewal) is coming up in 6 days. Yesterday I spent 5 hours baking 175 cupcakes and decorating them, at her house. Such a long, tiring, and painful day; my hips are still hurting today, however, I am just really glad that we got them done. My friend and all of us bridesmaids had to get our dresses fixed for a second time, my arm holes were too tight. My friend needed the padding in her chest area removed, one needed hers taken out a bit and the other needed her taken in more. All of our dresses will be back by Thursday, and I am really hoping that all of them are finally correct.

I am getting excited for this event, I am also pretty proud of how much I have accomplished in planning it. This really does give me experience, in all aspects of planning. The dress shop lady wants me to have my business cards and brochures in her store. She has had some brides ask if she provides the service, we are also looking into working together.
