Tips

Over the years that I have done event planning, worked wedding events, and helped set up events. I have learned a few tips that could come in handy for planners and for their clients and my clients.

My first tip is to have an emergency kit, the size of it really depends on what you think that you will need. There are some things that just make sense to have on hand like, band aids, safety pins, aspirin, antacids, deodorant, and tissues. These things are what you could consider your basics; it is always better to be safe than sorry. You can build your kit from there, you could add beauty products for touch ups, also items just in case something happens. Such as, a small sewing kit, scissors, phone chargers and a lint roller just to name a few. You could also add water and some snacks, because events can last a long time and you may not always have time to eat. I am a planner that will always have an emergency kit on hand for if anything unsuspecting happens.

Another tip is that there are emergency kits for the men, like grooms or groomsmen. Much of it can include that same as an emergency kit for brides or women clients. All emergency kit items can be purchased at any store or pharmacy and none of it has to be fancy or expensive.
